To be fair, SNHU lets you transfer in credits at any time, so it doesn't really matter when you transfer them in unless one of the Sophia courses you took is a prerequisite for a course you want to take your first term. If you're just waiting to avoid the $5 fee then I'm pretty sure you can send Sophia transcripts through Credly instead for free.
