The trunk would get opened so often from the buttons getting pressed in my pocket by other keys in there.The trunk relay caused the trunk to open on its own it's. It has nothing to do with the remote. When they change out the relay for a 2 shot relay, the problem is fixed. The relay is bad, nothing is done with the remote. I kept being told that the car is operating as designed when the trunk was opening randomly.The latch motor is depicted as having a permanent ground. It needs a (+)12V supplied to cause the latch to retract and open the trunk lid.
