With my first pregnancy, I didn't realize that the flutters were the baby moving until I really felt the baby move around 18 weeks. For me, it almost felt like bubbles or air moving through my intestines (but not in a painful gas way). It was so infrequent at first that I'd question whether I really felt anything.
